Feedback from members on the National Curriculum papers

As you may have seen in the last newsletter, MAWA is seeking feedback from members on the National Curriculum papers that have been recently released in order to submit a formal response from the Association. Please take the time to have a look at the papers, in particular the National Mathematics Curriculum: Framing Paper, which are at http://www.ncb.org.au/our_work/preparing_for_2009.html. We would like to get feedback from as many members as possible to ensure our response reflects your views. The website provides the capacity to submit your feedback directly to the board, but we would like you to submit your feedback to us as well. Please submit feedback to MAWA by 6 February 2009 for the sub-committee to include it in their work, or directly to the National Curriculum Board by 28 February 2009. A link to the documents will also be placed on our website shortly.
