About Have Sum Fun Online

HSFOL conducted by the Mathematical Association of Western Australia (MAWA) is a maths quiz of problems and puzzles for school teams of four students. The competition consists of three rounds of 10 questions, with each round accessible on this website for one day, and rounds are a week apart.

Teams can log on at any time during the set days and have an hour to complete each round. However, completion time is important, because in the case of ties for any of the first three places, the winner will be the team that took the least time to complete all three rounds.

All students who take part receive a participation certificate from MAWA; there are individual trophies for students in the top three teams; and there's also a school trophy for the winners. Hope you have sum fun!
